hello hello! sorry i have been mia lately! my last day of the 30 for 30 challenge was last thursday. i was supposed to leave on a trip to little rock for work on friday, but icy and snowy weather in the south stopped me from traveling. luckily i made it there on saturday and came back on sunday. it’s been a good week so far, and is going to get even better because my boyfriend is coming to visit. yipee!
i truly can’t believe that the challenge is over. it has felt very strange having so much freedom to shop my closet. i learned a lot about my personal style and how to be more creative with my clothes. i also learned things that i will do differently the next time i remix (i.e. more diverse clothing choices, etc.). thank you so much to everyone who has followed me during the remix! i am definitely hoping to do another 30 for 30 remix challenge later in the spring or in early summer.
i really want to keep blogging, but i’m not sure what to blog about.
i really liked what i wore on monday, so i took a picture and will post that below. maybe i’ll continue posting outfits. what do you guys think? let me know!

this week has been a crazy one. it started out great on sunday night with best of jackson. it was such a fun event. tons of free food and drinks and an amazing dance party! the week got a little crazy on monday morning when i cut myself pretty badly on a tuna can (cringe). i didn’t realize how squeamish i was until i was in a situation like that. luckily, my amazing roommate traci was home and came to my rescue. i’m worried that i won’t be able to survive any major medical event because i could hardly handle a deep cut on my thumb. oh well. i eventually went to the doctor and they glued my finger shut and gave me a tetanus shot (frowny face). today my finger and arm both feel much better.
tomorrow is my last day of the 30 for 30 remix. i truly can’t believe it! i have learned a lot and could not be more excited to shop my closet. kendi just started another 30 for 30 this month. i’m bummed that i didn’t wait to do it with her, but if you would like to see how it’s done like a pro, head on over to her site.

hello! i’ve had quite a weekend, and it’s not even over yet! i can’t believe that thursday will be the end of my 30 for 30 remix! i’ve had a great time, but i’d be lying if i said i wasn’t excited to dive into my closet on friday and wear something “new.”
